Description
Tesamorelin (also known as TH9507) is a synthetic analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It consists of 44 amino acids and is structurally modified to enhance stability and resistance to enzymatic degradation compared to endogenous GHRH.
Purpose and Mechanism:
Tesamorelin’s primary role in research is the stimulation of endogenous growth hormone (GH) secretion. It acts by binding to GHRH receptors in the anterior pituitary gland, triggering pulsatile release of growth hormone. This subsequently increases circulating levels of insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1), which plays a key role in anabolic signaling, tissue repair processes, and metabolic regulation.
By stimulating the body’s own GH production rather than supplying exogenous growth hormone, Tesamorelin is studied for its more physiologically regulated mechanism of action.
Product Specification:
This product is supplied as 6mg of high-purity Tesamorelin.
