Manufacturing
How XL Peptides Makes Our Peptides
Every Zenterex peptide is synthesised by XL Peptides, our manufacturing partner. Finished vials are then sent to Janoshik Analytical — an independent laboratory with no commercial stake in the result — for identity and purity testing. The manufacturer and batch number printed on every report below are the same ones on the label of the vial you receive.
Solid-phase synthesis
Each peptide is built one amino acid at a time on a solid resin support using Fmoc solid-phase peptide synthesis. Every coupling step is checked for completion before the next residue is added, so the sequence is assembled exactly as specified.
Cleavage & deprotection
The finished chain is cleaved from the resin and its side-chain protecting groups are removed. The crude peptide is then precipitated, washed and dried ready for purification.
Preparative HPLC purification
The crude material is purified by preparative reverse-phase HPLC, which separates the target sequence from truncated chains, deletion sequences and residual reagents. Only fractions that meet the purity target are pooled forward.
Lyophilisation
Purified peptide is freeze-dried into a stable white lyophilised powder. Removing water and solvent is what allows the product to stay intact in cold storage until it is reconstituted.
Filling, sealing & batch coding
The powder is filled into glass vials under controlled conditions, sealed with a rubber stopper and an aluminium crimp cap, and assigned a batch number that stays with that vial for the rest of its life.
Independent verification
A sealed vial from every batch goes to Janoshik Analytical, who confirm identity by mass spectrometry and measure purity and net peptide content by HPLC. Batches that fail are not released — the ones that pass are published on this page.
